Occupational Summary

As an Online Strategist for hesketh.com you will define business strategies and manage cross-disciplinary teams to achieve measurable outcomes. The Online Strategist role spans many activities from strategic to tactical, with a primary goal of maximizing outreach and program revenue using Web technologies.
Duties and Responsibilities

1. Marketing Strategy and Communications. Identify, lead, and document strategic marketing initiatives to create measurable results, including consensus building, analytical decision-making, employee and vendor coordination, and rolling up your sleeves. You have the confidence to make decisions and the persuasion skills to get individuals as well as committees onboard with a strategic plan of action.
2. Project Management. Influence and guide cross-disciplinary. Create, maintain, and communicate project budgets and schedules, coordinate resources, manage expectations, change issues, and risk.
3. User-Centered Research. Drive strategy through the selection and execution of appropriate research methodologies, including market research, competitive analysis, user and stakeholder interviews, personae, and scenarios.
4. Thought Leadership. Contribute to and stay current on the business trends and challenges of our target markets of caused-based organizations and higher education. Demonstrate an eagerness to learn, patience to share, and ability to apply new skills and trends within a diverse, user-centered design. Lead the team in the engagement with the local community.
5. Future of hesketh.com. Support executive management in developing company growth plans and contributing to the development and fulfillment of company goals and objectives.

Qualifications
Education

MBA or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
Experience

* 2+ years management, strategic marketing, or online consulting experience required.
* Experience creating estimates and scoping client work as part of new business development process.
* 4+ years of professional experience with or exposure to all hesketh.com user centered design disciplines: copy writing/content strategy, graphic/visual design, information architecture, interaction design, strategy, metrics/analysis, social media, business analysis, user research, and usability testing.
* Experience creating and leading presentations of deliverables and ideas to clients at all levels of an organization.
