Hart is privately held and headquartered in Austin, TX. In October 2008, the Hart management team executed a buy out of the company. The company presently has approximately 65 employees.

THE OPPORTUNITY: The opportunity at hand for Hart is to leverage the profitability and customer base of the elections business to further develop and grow the technology/software solutions side of the business. The opportunity for the successful candidate is to bring strong hands-on analytical ability, experience, energy and creativity to contribute to this charter of growth and to play a key executive role in moving this profitable company to its next level. The Company’s goal is to expand it’s footprint in providing high-value, trusted technologies to its markets while growing revenue to $100M within 4 years, generally through acquisitions. The primary role of this position is to be actively involved in searching for, analyzing, and acquiring companies to add to the Hart portfolio. In addition, this position will be very much involved in negotiations, due diligence, closing and integration of newly acquired companies.

SKILLS / EDUCATION REQUIRED: Strategic thinker, with strong skills in analysis, finance, due diligence, deal making. Software or other technology experience required. MBA or equivalent required.
