Accounting Professionals for our national firm provides day to day client services to Fortune 1000 companies. Primary areas of focus will include Financial Statement preparation/review, Corporate Accounting Support, SEC reporting (Q/K), Financial Analysis and Special Project Management.

Typical Engagements Include:
• Internal/External Financial Reporting/Month-end & Year End Close
• Accounting Process Enhancement
• Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis
• System Implementation
• Carve-out/Divestiture Support
• Special Projects

As a member of this team you\'ll be responsible for various short term and long term assignments that includes assisting with internal and external financial statements, footnotes and other disclosures for compliance with U.S. GAAP requirements, SEC filings, financial, trend and variance analysis, compliance testing, budget analysis and testwork. Furthermore you\'ll be responsible for developing and implementing process improvement initiatives relating to corporate accounting and financial reporting workstreams and research current GAAP and FASB pronouncements.

Job Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree in Accounting – CPA and/or MBA combined with solid accounting experience is a plus!
• 5-10 years of accounting and audit experience - Big 4 or National public accounting firm audit experience and/or large corporation experience in an internal audit or corporate accounting environment
• Strong accounting knowledge – General Ledger, Financial, SEC Reporting, Financial Analysis
• Excellent analytical, technical, and auditing skills including proficiency in U.S. GAAP
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• High energy with a commitment to quality client service
• Strong software experience that may include: Oracle, Hyperion, SAP, Peoplesoft, JD Edwards, Costpoint, MS Office (Excel)
