SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST - CORPORATE FINANCIAL REPORTING
(May change to Manager title for strong individual)
LOCATION: NEBRASKA
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Performs highly complex and interpretive financial analyses for assigned area (SEC).
Presents analysis and recommendations to management. Acts as a leader to less experienced staff.
Effectively leads small teams and works well with small ad-hoc project teams.
Areas of responsibility may include: Finance, Accounting, Internal Audit, Treasury, Risk Mgmt, M&A, Investor Relations, Insurance & Loss, Tax, Credit, Trade, Pricing, Freight or Financial Systems.
5 years related experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
This role is a key Finance partner for the Corporate Accounting Team.
Assist in developing management reports through functional knowledge of the following systems: SAP Business Warehouse, SAP system, and other internal financial systems, Hyperion Essbase, and BPC.
Prepare ad hoc reports and potential assignment to special studies/teams to assist management in evaluating key opportunities for the company.
Provide ad hoc analysis and special projects as required.
Research technical accounting issues.
Perform journal entries and account reconciliations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
6+ years of diverse Finance/accounting experience
Knowledge of GAAP
Exceptional PC skills required (Microsoft Suite)
Experience with SAP and Business Warehouse
Working knowledge of SAP G/L templates
Experience preparing/posting journal entries and account reconciliations
Excellent communication skills
· Public accounting experience – preferably from a Big Four accounting firm.
EDUCATION:
Required: Bachelor\'s Degree in Accounting
Preferred: CPA and/or MBA
