Responsibilities: - Facilitates corporate compliance with DOT regulations. - Manage nationally the tactical implementation of logistics strategic initiating Triad concept, systems requirements, development, testing, and implementation as well as new system roll-out, process engineering, on-site operations stabilization and Business Platform integration (Millwork). - Manage facility assessment, planning, design, physical improvements, maintenance, layout improvements, storage, racking requirements, equipment and people utilization. - Identifies supply chain opportunities and manages initiatives inclusive of standardizing quantities, product ID/labeling, UPC labeling, ASN integration, scan based inventory, customer managed inventory programs, and GP managed inventory programs for customers. Manages the supply chain to achieve the lowest platform operating cost. - Leads the process integration of continuous improvement into the operating culture. Utilize measurement processes, best practices, innovation, technology, benchmarking and ongoing training to obtain a process driven, problem solving environment. - Leads the development and maintenance of integrated systems and processes that support the timely, accurate and meaningful measurement of key operating activities that directly and indirectly impact service, quality, and cost. - Leads team; selects/hires; develops objectives; coaches and evaluates performance. Ensures direct reports obtain applicable training and development opportunities to enhance performance, development, and contributions to the company. Skills: Foundational knowledge of end to end supply chain and requirements. Extensive experience in distribution operations. System and process thinking skills. Strong process, technology, finance, and leadership skill sets. Strong communication/influence skills with all levels of the organization. Process improvement/change management experience. Capability in implementation/managing advanced planning and forecasting systems. Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite Software and relevant tools/technology.
Education: BS / BA Degree Supply Chain Management, Math/Statistics or in related field preferred. Generally 10+ years of experience in related field preferred; 8+ years with MS/MA/MBA.
