Pathway Genomics is looking for a full-time Email Marketing Manager to work in our San Diego office. Ideal candidate will have experience managing large-scale email marketing programs.

Qualifications:
* 3-5 years with email/product management setting up and overseeing all aspects of email strategy
* Experience creating user communications by developing the programs, systems, and processes to support lifecycle and event-based email programs.
* Experience with databases, segmentation, multivariate testing and/or other marketing testing, and marketing data analysis
* Excellent quantitative skills with an ability to identify trends/insights from data
* Demonstrated ability to drive revenue and response from email
* Proficiency with SQL, Business Objects or other analytics application, Excel and MS Office applications.
* Experience with online analytics tools such as Google Analytics, NetTracker, Omniture, and WebTrends.
* B.S. in Marketing or related field; MBA desired

Will be responsible for:
* Developing and managing the email communication plan to increase customer acquisition, engagement, retention, up-sell/cross-sell opportunities & revenue via newsletters and segmented, event-based email campaigns
* Creating a new email product and revenue channel
* Develop and test customer acquisition and retention email programs
* Track performance relative to targets and continually act to optimize results
* Lead email white listing & ISP relations, CAN-SPAM compliance, and email vendor relationships
* Work cross-functionally within Marketing to develop audience targeting and testing strategies
* Provide insights on customers to refine targeting strategies
* Monitor all list requests and manage the email marketing calendar to ensure appropriate audience targeting and compliance with mail frequency policy
* Identify and recommend platform, process, data, and tool improvements
* Ensure customer data policies and privacy policy are enforced
