Assists the Production Manager in overseeing and managing the operations and personnel of one or more production departments to maximize productivity and operating efficiencies. Oversees the coordination of labor, materials, equipment, and tooling to assemble product effectively. Maintains a high level of product quality and traceability during product assembly. Ensures production is performed according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Department Operating Procedures (DOPs), Manufacturing Process Instructions (MPI), Just In Time Manufacturing (JIT), and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Implements a staffing plan by identifying resource requirements, writing justifications for additional personnel, obtaining approval for changes, and coordinating the selection process with Human Resources.

Position Qualifications:
Bachelor\'s degree plus 2-4 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor\'s degree and 4+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. Preferred candidates will have experience in operations, Lean, Six Sigma, and process development. Also preferred but not required is an MBA or similar Master\'s Degree.
