Billion dollar global financial conglomerate seeks (CPA, Big 4 and MBA a +) with 5 - 8+ yrs public/private combination (insurance or variable annuity experience a big +). Responsible for financial reporting, GAAP, STAT, financial analysis, subsidiary accounting and investment analysis. Coordinate monthly and quarterly management reporting and internal control maintenance. Liaise and communicate with global and domestic teams throughout organization. Provide expense allocation analysis, budget, strategic planning and forecasts. Act as troubleshooter and provide direction and coordination of staff. Oversee accounting policy, research and recommend new processes to upgrade and support key business initiatives. Identify improvements and cost savings and act as special projects guru. Update and analyze accounting/financial functions for real estate entities. Report all updates to senior management and finance directors.
